Same-day psychiatric appointments in Salem, Oregon, evenings and weekends included
Mental health doesn’t keep business hours, so neither do we. Our Salem clinic sees patients from 8 in the morning until 8 at night, every day, and same-day visits are often available. Call or text, and we’ll try to see you today.

When you’re ready, waiting is the worst part
Deciding to see someone about your mental health can take months. When you finally pick up the phone, hearing that the first opening is weeks away can undo the whole decision. We built our schedule so that doesn’t happen here.
We hold room for same-day visits. They’re often available. We won’t pretend they’re guaranteed, because some days genuinely fill, but if you call or text in the morning, there’s a good chance we can see you before the day ends. If today is truly full, we’ll offer you the soonest real opening we have.
Prefer not to call? You can book a same-day appointment online or send us a text message and we’ll get back to you. One important note: if you’re in immediate danger or thinking about ending your life, call or text 988 right now. That line is for right-this-minute emergencies, and it never closes.
The honest version
- Same-day visits are often available, not guaranteed. Some days fill, and we’d rather tell you that than overpromise.
- Reaching out early in the day gives you the best chance at a same-day time.
- If today is full, you get the soonest opening we have, not a spot on a waitlist.
Open 8am to 8pm, seven days a week
Most of life happens outside nine-to-five. Our hours mean you can be seen after work, before school drop-off, or on a Sunday, without asking a manager for time off or explaining where you’re going.

Yes. Every day says the same thing. That’s the point. A Tuesday at 7pm and a Saturday morning are equally normal times to be seen here, and an evening or weekend visit is the same care, billed the same way under most plans.
Three ways to be seen
A same-day appointment doesn’t have to mean a same-day drive. Choose whichever setting feels most doable today.

Same-day doesn’t mean rushed. Your clinician takes time to hear what’s been going on, asks about your history and what you’ve already tried, and the two of you decide the next step together. You’ll leave the first visit with a plan you helped build. That might be therapy, careful medication management, a conversation about Deep TMS in Salem for depression that hasn’t responded to medication, or simply a follow-up appointment and time to think. Nothing is decided without you, and nothing is permanent.
What patients say about getting in
“Everyone in there is absolutely amazing and a big plus is they're even open on weekends. I highly highly suggest EuHealth!! ❤️”
“I’m so glad that I was able to find EuHealth! Before them I was on waiting lists (year long) and had been pushed off by therapist since I couldn’t afford them. Within a day of finding EuHealth I was talking with someone and scheduled a week later! I feel very safe, understood and I’m always looking forward to my every appointment. My growth in myself has blossomed since I’ve been coming here! I recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a good first step in your health! Plus the staff is very wonderful and always helpful when I have questions!”
“The receptionist helped me get in after my provider kept cancelling. Now that I am finally here I love the calming atmosphere!”

Same-day questions, honest answers
Is a same-day appointment really possible?
Often, yes. We hold room in the schedule for same-day visits, and calling or texting early in the day gives you the best chance at one. We can’t promise it every single day, since some days genuinely fill, but if today doesn’t work, we’ll offer you the soonest real opening instead of a weeks-long wait.
Do you take walk-ins?
Please call or text first rather than walking in. A quick call lets us hold a time for you, make sure a clinician is actually free, and tell you what to bring, so you’re not sitting in a waiting room hoping for a gap. It usually takes only a few minutes, and then the time is yours.
Does a same-day or evening visit cost extra?
Usually not. Under most plans, a 7pm Sunday visit is billed exactly like a 10am Tuesday one. Every plan reads a little differently, though, and we’ll confirm your exact cost before you come in.
Can I call on behalf of a family member?
Yes. Many first calls come from a parent, partner, or adult child. We can answer your questions and help set up the visit, but the person receiving care needs to be involved and willing, and adults will speak with the clinician themselves. If you’re not sure how to start that conversation with your loved one, call and we’ll think it through with you.
Do I need a psychiatrist, or can a psychiatric nurse practitioner see me today?
In Oregon, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) can evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe, the things most people are looking for when they search for a psychiatrist. Our care is led by a board-certified PMHNP.
