You don’t need a diagnosis to call
Most people don’t reach out the moment something feels off. They wait: for it to pass, for proof it’s “bad enough,” for the right words to explain it. If that’s where you are, hear this: if something feels wrong, that’s enough. You don’t need a self-diagnosis, a referral, or a rehearsed speech.
Naming what’s going on is our work, shared with you. Every plan starts with a careful psychiatric evaluation, often the same day you call.
Seven conditions we care for every day
Each one links to a page about how we treat it here in Salem. They’re the most common reasons people come to us, not the limits of what we do, so if your situation isn’t named below, call anyway.
How treatment comes together
There’s no menu to pick from up front. First comes the evaluation: your history, your symptoms, what you’ve already tried, and what matters to you. From there, most plans draw on some mix of therapy, medication management, and Deep TMS, adjusted as we learn what helps you.

Questions people actually ask
What if I don’t know my diagnosis?
You don’t need one. Figuring that out is our job, not yours. Come as you are and describe your days in plain words: the sleep that won’t come, the worry that won’t quiet, the fog that won’t lift. A thorough evaluation with a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner sorts out what’s going on and what might help, and nothing is decided without you.
Can I be treated for more than one condition at once?
Yes, and it’s very common. Anxiety often travels with depression, ADHD with insomnia, trauma with almost anything. Because your care stays with one practice, everything is looked at together: one evaluation, one integrated plan, and medications reviewed side by side rather than in separate silos. You won’t be bounced between offices to have each piece treated on its own.
Do you treat teenagers, or only adults?
We see both teens and adults. Every situation is a little different, though. The right fit depends on your teen’s age, what’s going on, and what kind of support they need. The simplest way to find out is to call us at 503-395-8614 and describe the situation; we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit, and point you somewhere better if we’re not.
